Room automation
The task of the XMP-GA-IRC (Individual room controller) is to realize various control and supervising functions within the range of the individual room automation.
The individual room controller is able to run "standalone". Because of its basis parameter setting the IRC can also be used as single device.
The XMP-GA-IRC has a compact closed design. Because of the flat design the XMP-GA-IRC can be mounted into the double bottom or into the ceiling.
The address structure of the individual room controller is the same as that of the host.
During the "online" operation the XMP-GA-IRC's are supervised and configured by the IRC controller (XMP-GA-BOX/IRC) of BABYLON-XMP.
Up to 64 XMP-GA-IRC can be connected to one XMP-GA-BOX32 (IRC) controller.
The connection of the XMP-GA-BOX/IRC to the management system BABYLON-XMP is realized through Ethernet (TCP/IP). The operation and configuration of the XMP-GA-IRC is also possible for example with a notebook.
After a network failure an automatic restart will occur. The rooms are set into the same state as before the network failure.
The relevant XMP-GA-IRC data are saved for minimum 6 months in the internal buffer of the XMP-GA-BOX32 (IRC).
