System installation
The prices per datapoint have been lowered dramatically during the last 10 years. The producers of hard- and software had to reduce their costs even. Essentially, the end of possibilities is reached here. To avoid further pressure from the costs the new building automation system Uranus was created. With it the possibility is given to reduce the services overhead considerably.
Uranus building automation can be handled fast and secure - even without programming knowledges.
Advantage: You - the installer - still keep the knowhow. We have achieved this with a very simple general operating concept and lots of application oriented and important details.
Automation station - GA modules
The automation stations and the GA modules are plug-in modules with a special mechanical coding. This mechanical coding prevents misplacement of the different module types. The disconnecting terminals for the substation and the modules have been integrated in the module socket.
Reduced mounting and wiring efforts
The reduction per datapoint concern: 2 disconnecting terminals, mounting of disconnecting terminals, 4 times skinning per datapoint, 4 times clipping per datapoint.
Graphical programming
The graphical software tool VIPS is a powerful element for reducing the efforts for services.
With an easy mouse click it is possible to link function blocks, which are provided by a comprehensive library, on the screen in graphical way. Furthermore an assignment of the corresponding inputs and outputs can be realized. Thus, a complex installation can be created in very short time. Programming knowledge is not required.
Time savings up to 80%, offline test of the installation, automatical creation of installation documentations, the the system installer keeps the knowhow.
Datapoint generation
A further advantage is the possibility of the communication between Uranus building automation and the planning tool TRIC, which was developed by the company Mervi-soft from Wiesbaden. Meanwhile a lot of planners use this tool for the creation of controlling schemes and datapoint lists. Data, which were generated in TRIC, can be easy imported by Uranus building automation.
Automatical datapoint generation, automatical set up of automation stations, automatical text insertion (in case of standard texts), decrease errors.
Commissioning
A graphical operation station with keyboard and 15´´ TFT colour screen can be mounted to the front of the switch cabinet. On this screen will be visualized the dynamic installation pictures of the technical subsections for the site with their corresponding datapoints. By this the commissioning costs will be reduced drastical.
No second person for datapoint test and commissioning required. Information from other installations which are related to the commissionig is displayed. This results in a reduced time for trouble shooting.
