Biometric terminal for access control and time and attendance XMP-TMC2803-FP

The fingerprint reader of the TMC28xx series convinces by its user-friendliness and less maintenance. The graceful designed, small and ergonomically arranged housing design fits best into each kind of building architecture. This terminal was specially designed for the biometric access control.

The terminal is equipped with a 2x20 digit fluorescent display, 9 function keys with 5 special keys and a numeric keyboard as well as an optical sensor for fingerprint. High flexibility enables a wide application-spectrum in many areas of electronic security - and automation-systems. The connection of the terminals must be realized via the door-control-unit (access-control-center) K32 and K32Lite witch are installed in the secured area.

As fingerprint readers the variants XMP-TMC2802-FP and XMP-TMC2801-FP are also available.

For security reasons all templates (fingerprints) are stored at the XMP-K32 (host) in the secured area. After a request, for example after an identification-booking or after input of a personal pin-code, the current fingerscan will be send coded to the door-control-unit and is there compared with the current fingerprint.

The application-purpose of this terminal consists in the access-control for high-security-areas, secured time-registration or releasing personal actions.
